Broadly though, my interests include species conservation, particularly in the southeast. I was inspired to help conserve nature for the next generation(s) by my grandparents travels and the realization that 30-40 years later I have been able to see the same sights that they once saw, and I wish for others to be able to have a similar experience. I enjoy learning and am happy to leave my comfort zone to work on a variety of different taxa. My hope is to be hired into a position where I can most benefit others with my unique set of skills, and I am open minded as to what that position may be.
